Alderman Lamont Westmoreland, a lifelong resident of the City of Milwaukee, was elected to the Milwaukee Common Council on April 4, 2023, in his first bid for public office. Alderman Westmoreland currently serves on the Public Safety and Health Committee, the Public Works Committee, and is a Commissioner on the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee.
